So much is going on around the world that breaks my heart and I ask why? Why, mums? Everyday now all around the world kids are being killed, many are going through unimaginable things and I wonder what next. All we have as these things unfold is prayers.
As a mum who have lost a loved child and find no answers to why she was killed, I know what it is most victims families are going through but the question is why are all these killings going on around us and all over the world.
I cried again seeing an eight year old girl’s life been wasted in a senseless shooting by a gun man on Sunday in Toronto. A mere child happy to be out of school for the summer and maybe having quality time out with family and friends. Another victim is 18 year old soon to be College student in the fall, looking forward to the next step in her life and that life sniff by a trigger happy guy.
What words of comfort do any one think is ok for the families of this two, what explanation does the killers parents think they are making that would help to dry the tears of the parents of the dead. My heart bleeds for the grieving mums at this moment and I know every mum, mum’s to be, mum’s at heart feels the same way.
I have been there, it is not a place to be. This is the time to pray for a stop to violence, a stop to the early termination of the life of kids, who are the leaders of tomorrow. Like I mentioned before, all over the world. In the recent genocide in the Northern part of Nigeria, kids and their parents where slaughtered like animals.
This is a plea for mum’s to rise up in prayers, it does not need to happen to those close you before you need to show concern. We need to send out a loud cry of laments for this to stop.
