When you have a bully living down your street or in the neighbourhood that threatens your very existence, the day one of your parents decides to walk down the street with you holding your little hands in his or her big hands is the greatest day for you.
Some of us have had that experience. Growing up, my elder sister was the tomboy. So everyone was scared but when she went off to boarding school, some of the neighbourhood boys tried to make life unbearable for me. My had to remind them that my sister was going to be back during the holidays.
Of course when she came back, I had to make sure I walked up and down the street with her. None of the bullies dare show their faces. This best describes God, I sometimes just know I am lying in his palms.
I can feel the fierce wind blowing, the storm comes and the might thunder. I have had my fair share of them and I know it is not by my strength I have remain unscathed or unscratched. Its because I am lying comfortable in in palms, the big pals that protects me and all I can see is the after effect.
As I go to sleep, I am in his palms, my children/family and I are enclosed in that big palm, what about you. Where do you hide or take refuge in this times?
